Our Ortho-Comfort mattress is part of our firmer orthopaedic backcare range, designed for those of you who prefer that firmer feel to a mattress and prefer the feeling of laying on the mattress rather than lying on the mattress.

This mattress is specifically designed for that firmer feel and will also suit a larger user. Using our orthopaedic firmer 12.5 gauge spinal core open coil spring unit with added side supports to give a firm robust feel.

Multiple comfort fillings are layered on top of the spring unit allowing for hips and shoulders to be gently supported, on top of this we add firmer fillings and top with a supple layer of soft memory foam to give a firm but comfortable night’s sleep.

The mattress surface is our exclusive 3D knitted yarn which is 100% natural and very soft to the touch. Quilted to increase the comfort to the top of the mattress, it is exceptionally absorbent, removing moisture to ensure that you stay dry whilst you sleep therefore keeping your body at a constant temperature.

Mattress borders are side stitched to give strength to the edge of the mattress and are fitted with flag-stitched turning handles and air vents keeping the mattress interior clean and fresh the perfect solution for a cool, dry sleep.

All our Mattresses meet with source 5 contract fire regulations and we are so confident of the Ortho-Comfort that we back it with our 10 year warranty.

Always buy these beds and mattresses for our B&B. Guests are always happy with them and they last well. The wheel system on the bed bases can be difficult to install and the middle wheels are prone to break.

We have bought these mattresses before as they are very comfortable and I have given them 5 stars. However, after being used in our holiday accommodation for 5 years (they are only slept in for approx 6-7mths each year) a spring collapsed in one of them. We wanted to replace the broken one but had to buy 2! This was a little bit annoying as I not only had to dump the broken one I had to give the good one away as I had nowhere to keep it. So comfortable, not sure about durability, and certainly proved to be expensive.
