Chieftain Metal Bunk Splits Into Two Single Beds

Constructed from metal and finished in grey, the Chieftain Metal Bunk provides a strong and adaptable sleeping solution for commercial accommodation and domestic bedrooms. The split design allows the bunk bed to be separated into two individual 3'0'' single beds whenever required. Please note that the two beds are different heights when used separately. Caps can be provided for the exposed bedposts when the frame is used in this configuration.

The upper sleeping level incorporates full-length guardrails, whilst an integrated ladder provides convenient access. A wall strap is supplied and must be used to secure the frame to a suitable wall whenever it is assembled as a bunk bed.

The Chieftain Metal Bunk requires two standard 3'0'' single mattresses measuring approximately 90cm wide by 190cm long. Mattresses are not included. For safety reasons, we do not recommend using a mattress deeper than 15cm on the upper sleeping level.

Rodded metal slats provide a supportive platform for each compatible mattress. Each sleeping level supports a maximum weight of 150kg, making the frame suitable for a range of domestic and commercial accommodation settings. Where the sleepers are of different weights, we recommend that the heavier person uses the lower sleeping level.

Supplied flat-packed for self-assembly, the frame uses a boltless locking system that requires no nuts, bolts or tools. This makes the Chieftain Metal Bunk easy to assemble without having to manage numerous separate fixings.
